Modern initiative of State Education Department, online training will be given to teachers

Teacher Training: The state school education department took the initiative to provide online training to about one lakh teachers. For this, the School Education Department has taken a joint initiative with Microsoft India. This training will be provided for primary and secondary level teachers. It is known that a notification in this regard will soon reach the district education officers.

A two-day online training will be imparted in the program named ‘Professional Development of School Teachers MIE Expert Educator Program and Hybrid Learning 3.0 Training Programme’. This program is starting from Monday. On Monday and Tuesday i.e. 30th and 31st October, general teacher training will be conducted in schools of Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Siliguri, North and South Dinajpur, Murshidabad, Maldah, Nadia, Bankura, Purulia, Birbhum and Jhargram. Then on November 12, this training will be held in East and West Burdwan, East and West Medinipur, Howrah, Hooghly, North and South 24 Parganas and Kolkata. Along with teachers, principals will also have to participate in this training online.

Separate training arrangements will be made for head teachers and other general teachers. Separate training will be provided for each district. On November 3 and 4, head teachers of schools in the northern districts of Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Siliguri, North and South Dinajpur as well as East and West Burdwan, Howrah and Hooghly districts will be trained.

In the next phase, training will be given to the headmasters of schools of Maldah, Murshidabad, Nadia, Bankura, Purulia, Birbhum and Jhargram on 6th and 7th November. November 8 and 9 have been scheduled for training of head teachers of schools of East and West Medinipur, North and South 24 Parganas and Kolkata. School teachers and headmasters will have to register online. Some teachers believe that teachers would benefit from receiving such training from organizations like Microsoft. This initiative of the state school education department is being viewed positively by the teachers.
